  1. Hi Cathy and Eric!

Rich and I spent some time looking at pics of Camp Cathy. You’ve done a wonderful job! Amazing.

I don’t know if you like feed back, but you know me, here goes!

There is no mention anywhere of prices…I assume you’re not doing this for free. A description of your target audience might be appropriate as well…as in “What are we, and why should you come here?” kind of thing. I found it a little puzzling, and had questions in my mind. If I don’t understand something, you can bet there’s other people out there who don’t quite get it. These are some of the questions that came up: Can you stay overnight? In a cabin? With a camper trailer? How much would it cost? How many does the cabin sleep? Is food provided? How many can you accommodate- for a day? for a weekend? Are activities guided or do you just let people do what activity they want? i.e. Can a person just come out and hike around the trails unsupervised? Is it suitable for events-i.e. family reunions? weddings? retreats? or just small groups? Just some thoughts to ponder.

We wish you happy trails with your new venture!

    1. Hello Janet and Richard,

It’s a funny thing – when our relatives stayed at our house for the weekend or week, we did a lot of activities. Eventually, they started to call it Camp Cathy as an inside family joke. When we moved to our new home with a lot more land and facilities, things got really carried-away when we made a trail=map with the name on it and a logo. So, as an extension of the joke, I made the website. Now we are getting inquiries about the camp, but it’s not a public camp, it’s just our home with a name stuck to our family events.

To answer your questions, there are no fees because it’s just what we do with friends and family when they visit. I guess we could start charging for people we don’t know (or those we do know and don’t like) to come visit?

      Eric
